About the Role
An amazing business that specialises within the Sports & Entertainment sector are seeking an insurance technician. Due to continued growth over the last 4 years, they’re seeking an Account Handler/Technician to join the business
Our client is seeking someone who is keen to work for a fantastic, entrepreneurial business and who possesses experience in the sports and entertainment business (Contingency perils) or has a genuine interest in moving into this space.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, process, and manage insurance documentation and slips for the various lines of business
Use of systems such as Whitespace, PPL and Atlas
Monitor and manage premium processing and bordereaux, ensuring timely and accurate settlement under London Market accounting standards
Liaise with underwriters, brokers, and third-party service providers to ensure the timely resolution of queries and issues
Support compliance with regulatory and internal controls, particularly around Lloyd’s reporting requirements
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of policies and endorsements within internal systems
Collaborate with internal teams to support renewals, mid-term adjustments, and general policy servicing
Ensure smooth onboarding and sanctions checking of clients, with the assistance of our principal firm.
Contribute to the continuous improvement in technical and operational processes
Key Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the London Market, with a strong technical understanding of niche insurance classes, such as Contingency, Bloodstock and Fine Art preferred. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of London Market procedures, including Accounting and Settlement (A&S) and Lloyd’s practices. Experience with ECF, IMR, PPL, Whitespace & DDM
