About the Role

An amazing business that specialises within the Sports & Entertainment sector are seeking an insurance technician. Due to continued growth over the last 4 years, they’re seeking an Account Handler/Technician to join the business

Our client is seeking someone who is keen to work for a fantastic, entrepreneurial business and who possesses experience in the sports and entertainment business (Contingency perils) or has a genuine interest in moving into this space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, process, and manage insurance documentation and slips for the various lines of business

  • Use of systems such as Whitespace, PPL and Atlas

  • Monitor and manage premium processing and bordereaux, ensuring timely and accurate settlement under London Market accounting standards

  • Liaise with underwriters, brokers, and third-party service providers to ensure the timely resolution of queries and issues

  • Support compliance with regulatory and internal controls, particularly around Lloyd’s reporting requirements

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of policies and endorsements within internal systems

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support renewals, mid-term adjustments, and general policy servicing

  • Ensure smooth onboarding and sanctions checking of clients, with the assistance of our principal firm.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement in technical and operational processes

Key Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the London Market, with a strong technical understanding of niche insurance classes, such as Contingency, Bloodstock and Fine Art preferred. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of London Market procedures, including Accounting and Settlement (A&S) and Lloyd’s practices. Experience with ECF, IMR, PPL, Whitespace & DDM
