About the Role
Our client is a market leading broker who has an opportunity for an Associate working within their highly successful London Market Digital Solutions / Facilities team supporting bespoke initiatives.
The role supports the end-to-end broking process for all risks, including working with Whitespace, managing structured risk data, quality-checking slips and endorsements, monitoring placement progress via electronic platforms, and handling exception reporting (including SoVs/RMS workflow).
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day client/broking support, with the agility to work across lines when required.
Support the team in developing market relationships by ensuring all administrative and operational needs are handled in a timely, technically accurate, and compliant manner.
Support utilisation of digital platforms and other such initiatives for in-scope risks
Assist Client Advocates/Broking colleagues in the quality control of slips, endorsements, and support in resolving any processing queries, both manual and automated.
Monitor and seek agreement of slips and endorsements via the London Market's electronic placing platform and the firm’s platform of choice (Whitespace).
Actively monitor and manage digital placement processes
Build strong networks with colleagues across the different Specialty and internal teams.
Key Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will possess previous London Market broking or operations experience and enjoy working within a fast-paced and evolving digital environment. This opportunity would suit someone who takes pride in technical accuracy, enjoys process ownership and is confident working closely with both Brokers and Carriers across the end-to-end placement process.
The role requires someone with strong client service skills and commercial awareness, alongside the ability to communicate effectively and positively with a variety of stakeholders. The successful individual will be IT proficient, comfortable working with bespoke technologies and systems, and possess an analytical mindset with a genuine desire to grow and expand their responsibilities within the team.
The client is also seeking someone who is proactive, solutions-focused and able to use their initiative to respond to clients in a conscientious and timely manner. Previous exposure to Whitespace would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
