About the Role

We are recruiting for a highly established Lloyd’s Broker who is seeking someone with US Contingency/A&H experience to join its newly formed Division.

They’re looking for an experienced Technician to play a key role in supporting placements, strengthening client relationships and ensuring a “right first time” approach across all technical processing. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team where you’ll also support and guide more junior members.

You will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective Technical Processing service to the business whilst adhering to Regulatory, Risk and Compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and process declaration slips, lineslips & open market slips

  • Liaise with clients, underwriters and third parties

  • Ensure all work is delivered within SLA & KPI targets

  • Produce accurate client and market documentation

  • Manage and track processing requests

  • Carry out Second Pair of Eyes checks to maintain quality

  • Support team development and identify training needs

Key Skills & Experience

The client is seeking candidates with strong experience within the US Contingency and Accident & Health (A&H) market, who are confident in handling market reform contracts and delivering a high standard of technical work.

Experience using Sequel Eclipse is desirable, alongside advanced Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables and complex formulas. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
