About the Role

We are recruiting for a major player in the London market for a client support role in their Crisis Management Team. The team is highly respected with an extremely profitable and rapidly growing portfolio.

You will support the Broker Client Advocate (Partner level) on a portfolio of complex clients and prospects whilst aiding retention and new business development. You will help support the growth of the portfolio by targeting and converting prospects as well as broking into Lloyds and company markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Broker Client Advocate (Partner level) with a portfolio of accounts in all aspects of clients’ (re)insurance programmes. This will include, but not be restricted to, account strategy; renewal and retention strategy; stewardship meetings/reports; claims management; day-to-day enquiries; credit control; new business opportunities (cross-class)

  • Assist with fostering and maintaining long-term relationships with key client decision makers and internal stakeholders

  • Maintain an awareness of all claims-related matters and assist with negotiating equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients

  • Implement and execute digital trading with (re)insurers as advised by the company

  • Develop and manage relationships with key (re)insurers

  • Understand the appetite and capability of key insurers to enable productive conversations with clients and prospects

Key Skills & Experience

The client is seeking a professional with speciality (re)insurance experience and knowledge of local markets and products. The role involves advising clients, building strong relationships, and supporting premium and coverage negotiations with (re)insurers. You will have experience in client and market-facing roles, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to deliver outstanding service in a deadline-driven environment.
