About the Role

Our client is a market leader and has recently been recognised with two awards “Digital Insurance Innovation of the Year” and “Broking Innovation of the Year”

The role supports the delivery of significant profit targets for digital solutions. The role will mature the firm’s data capabilities, drive data and analytics required to support current and future Underscore initiatives and serve as a focal point to drive facility utilisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with complex insurance and transactional data across Lloyd’s market placement structures

  • Interpret and leverage insurance data to generate meaningful business insights

  • Support carrier profitability and improve facility utilisation through data analysis

  • Design, build and maintain robust data models

  • Collaborate closely with broking leaders, carrier data teams and external vendors

  • Deliver actionable insights to support the growth and performance of Underscore initiatives

Key Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of placement structures, particularly within the Lloyd’s market, alongside advanced data and analytics expertise, including data cleansing and transformation. Applicants should be proficient in tools such as SQL, Power BI and Excel, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex insurance data to deliver meaningful business insights.

The role requires someone with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, who is comfortable working across multiple teams and engaging with both internal and external parties. The ideal individual will combine strong technical capability with commercial acumen, supported by an analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
