An expanding and market leading insurance broker is seeking an IBA Account Assistant to join it’s Finance Team.
The client has a fantastic reputation across the market.
Key Responsibilities
Process incoming cash receipts from broker and payment to underwriters on Global XB
Process payments to insurers
Conduct bank reconciliations
Manage currency accounts
Issue monthly broker statements
Work with broker to ensure prompt payment of premiums
Investigate broker and insurer queries
Review Client monies calculationLoad all expenses on Xero
Load all brokage invoices
Load all bill to be paid
Reconcile bill payments and accounts
Reconcile monthly transactions on Xero to spreadsheets
Key Skills & Experience
The client is seeking someone 2 years plus experience using Global XB within an insurance accounting role and some experience of using Xero. They would like someone who has a desire to learn and develop new skills.
You should have good problem-solving skills, be a confident communicator and have strong team working collaborative ethos. You should be proactive, approachable and have excellent attention to detail.
