About the Role
A leading Lloyd's broker has a fantastic opportunity for a Technician within their Marine team.
You will be responsible for producing and processing post placement documentation, processing premium, credit control and file and record management. Working day to day with broking/client advisory team to ensure excellent client service is maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Production of debit/credit notes, security schedules, evidence of cover and endorsements (or equivalent documentation)
Production of insurance/certificates/Letters of Undertaking
Review documents at key stages to ensure accuracy and completeness
Process original, additional/return premiums and any other associated transactions
Generate market closing documentation and submits premium market and bureau
Manage premium payment and pursue the receipts of funds
Assist with reconciliation of unallocated cash
Maintain thorough and timely records
Key Skills & Experience
The client is seeking someone with Marine experience in a similar role. You should be accurate and have excellent attention to detail with detailed understanding of all back office functions (Premium collection, DXC, IBA, Debit Notes) and how it is aligned to the Front end process.
You should be able to communicate effectively with clients, brokers, underwriters and colleagues both verbally and in writing and have excellent time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to build relationships.
