About the Role
The role is working for a Lloyd’s Broker based in the City, they are seeking a Senior Binding Authority Technician to join their expanding team in their Speciality Division.
Experience in Binders business is key, and knowledge of Property and North American business is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Create and prepare Binding Authorities, lineslips, open market slips, slip endorsements and policy wordings, with particular emphasis on North American business
DCOM registration
Knowledge of bulking and non-bulking lineslips
Knowledge of in-house and 3rd party bind agreements
Knowledge of treaty or reinsurance would be an advantage
Ability to work with brokers and clients
Manage a small team of 2/3 people
Management of ATLAS records in conjunction with Coverholder clients
Monitoring of Coverholder audits via the Lloyd’s Delegated Audit Manager system
Liaise with individual Managing Agent Delegated Underwriting Teams and respond to Compliance information requests
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a consistently excellent and comprehensive service
Deal with incoming technical enquiries from Clients, Underwriters and third parties
Review, advise and guide both team and clients on compliance matters, with a focus on Lloyd’s requirements
Assist in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive client and broking documents including renewal information
Run ad-hoc compliance projects as required
