About the Role
Our client is a niche Lloyd’s Broker looking for a Senior Technician to expand their business. This new role will support the business across all technical processes, working closely with the Technical Manager across multiple classes of business and territories.

Key Responsibilities
Process all premiums and premium bordereaux in the accounting system
Submit premiums and premium bordereaux using a third-party system
Respond to underwriter queries regarding outstanding premiums and adjustments
Enter contract information into the accounting system, including expense percentages and signing numbers
Maintain premium statistics for line slips and binders
Create and maintain templates for accounting system documents (e.g., debit/credit notes, closings)
Regularly check various accounting reports (e.g., unallocated cash, funding, unrealised brokerage, aged debt)
Key Skills & Experience
The client is seeking someone who is an excellent communicator, adaptable, diligent, and has the appetite to succeed. Knowledge of technical insurance processes & premium accounting experience required and A&H or Casualty experience would be desirable but not essential.
You should possess strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
